1. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
The Installer agrees to supply and install the following solar photovoltaic system:

2. INSTALLATION LOCATION

3. SCOPE OF WORK
The Installer will:
- Conduct a pre-installation site assessment
- Design the solar system to meet Customer requirements
- Obtain all necessary approvals (council, grid connection)
- Supply all equipment specified in Section 1
- Install solar panels, inverter, and associated electrical work
- Install mounting system in accordance with Australian Standards
- Connect system to Customer's electrical switchboard
- Commission and test the complete system
- Arrange grid connection and meter upgrade (if required)
- Provide system monitoring setup and training
- Register systems for applicable government rebates (STCs)
- Provide all warranty documentation
4. PRICING AND ON-SITE INSPECTION REQUIREMENT

Any pricing information provided through our website, calculator, packages, quotes, or verbal/written estimates are preliminary estimates only and are subject to change based on an on-site inspection.
Final binding pricing will ONLY be confirmed after:
- A qualified iSolar Elec employee conducts an in-person, on-site inspection of your property
- Visual assessment of roof condition, structure, electrical infrastructure, and installation requirements
- Identification of any site-specific challenges or additional work required
- Written confirmation and signature by an authorized iSolar Elec representative
Online estimates, calculator results, and package prices DO NOT constitute a binding contract. Actual final pricing may vary based on site conditions including but not limited to:
- Roof type, pitch, material, and structural integrity
- Electrical switchboard upgrades or modifications required
- Distance from panels to inverter/switchboard
- Site access difficulties or safety requirements
- Additional electrical work or compliance requirements
- Asbestos or hazardous materials present
- Council or grid connection specific requirements
By requesting a quote or proceeding with an on-site inspection, you acknowledge and agree that prices are not final until confirmed in writing by an authorized iSolar Elec representative following the on-site inspection.
5. CONTRACT PRICE (Following On-Site Inspection)

7. TIMELINE

8. WARRANTIES
8.1 iSolar Elec Workmanship Warranty
10-year warranty on all installation work, covering defects in workmanship, mounting system installation, and electrical connections.
8.2 Equipment Warranties
- Solar Panels: As specified by manufacturer (typically 25-30 years)
- Inverter: As specified by manufacturer (typically 5-10 years)
- Battery: As specified by manufacturer (typically 10 years)
- Mounting System: As specified by manufacturer
8.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranties specifically DO NOT cover:
- Damage from severe weather, natural disasters, or Acts of God
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or failure to maintain
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from vermin, pests, or external impacts
- Software misconfigurations or user errors
- Network/WiFi connectivity issues
- Customer-modified system settings
⚠️ SOFTWARE & CONFIGURATION SUPPORT - CHARGEABLE
IMPORTANT: All software misconfigurations, user errors, and configuration adjustments are FULLY CHARGEABLE and NOT covered under warranty.
Customer acknowledges and agrees that the following are chargeable services:
- Resetting or reconfiguring inverter/battery settings after customer changes
- Reconnecting WiFi, monitoring apps, or network devices
- Troubleshooting internet or router issues
- Re-pairing devices or restoring monitoring functionality
- Correcting time/date/timezone settings
- Restoring factory defaults after user modifications
- Additional training beyond initial commissioning
- Firmware updates at customer request (outside defect resolution)
- Issues caused by third-party apps or software
Service Fees:
- • Standard call-out: $150-$250 + GST
- • Remote support: $80-$120/hour + GST
- • On-site support: $120-$180/hour + GST plus travel
If a service call reveals a customer-caused issue (not a defect), the full service fee applies regardless of how quickly the issue is resolved. Customer agrees to pay all charges for non-warranty service calls.
9. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate information about the property and electrical system
- Ensure roof structure is sound and suitable for solar installation
- Provide clear access to roof, switchboard, and installation area
- Ensure pets are secured during installation
- Notify Installer of any hazardous materials (asbestos, etc.)
- Make timely payments as per Section 6
- Maintain home insurance coverage for the installed system
- Not modify the system without Installer's written consent
- Not modify inverter, battery, or system settings without consulting iSolar Elec
- Contact iSolar Elec before making any configuration changes to avoid chargeable service calls
- Pay all applicable service fees for software/configuration support outside warranty coverage
10. COOLING-OFF PERIOD
The Customer has a 10-business-day cooling-off period from the date of signing this Agreement. Cancellation during this period will result in a full refund minus any reasonable costs already incurred (e.g., equipment ordered, approvals submitted).
11. SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
- All work will be performed by CEC-accredited installers
- Installation will comply with AS/NZS 5033:2021 and all relevant standards
- All electrical work will be performed by licensed electricians
- Certificate of Electrical Safety will be provided upon completion
- Work health and safety protocols will be followed at all times
12. INSURANCE
iSolar Elec maintains:
- Public Liability Insurance: $[Amount] coverage
- Workers Compensation Insurance as required by law
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Subject to Australian Consumer Law, the Installer's total liability under this Agreement is limited to the total contract price. The Installer is not liable for consequential or indirect damages.
14. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of [State/Territory]. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of [State/Territory].
15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement, together with any attached quotations and specifications, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. No verbal representations or promises are binding unless included in this written Agreement.

Australian Consumer Law Notice:
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and obtain a refund, or to compensation for the reduced value of the services. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
